I am an unyielding advocate for our 2^nd amendment rights. As your representative, I will support the rights of law-abiding citizens to own firearms for sport and, in defense of themselves and their families.  I will fight all efforts to create a national gun registry that violate the privacy of gun owners. However, I do believe we can remain vigilant in keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and the mentally ill.  Despite all the rhetoric, I believe mainstream Georgians can strike the proper balance without putting our right to bear arms at risk.
